My name is Angela. I was a check-the-box “Catholic” for a good part of my life, but have been searching for Truth since 2005 so as to live as a Catholic disciple of Jesus. I am a pilgrim on a journey to find my way home. I also have a passion for trying to help my three children navigate through a culture that has become even more challenging than the one I was once immersed in. Despite the war our culture has waged on marriages, I still believe in marriage for the good of a society. I pray for the future spouses of all my children if God is calling them to marriage and I pray they will be good spouses. I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and I was a wife for almost 22 years. I lost my husband, Brian, to cancer in 2015. I am a Professional Wrestler and have wrestled with God for many years over faith, prayer, illness, chastity, family, life, love and now death. I attend Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) Parish in Plymouth, MI. I attended Catholic School there with all of my siblings, as did my own children and all of my nieces and nephews. I was married at Our Lady of Good Counsel and, God willing, will most likely go home from there.
This past summer, I became a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist to walk grievers through action steps to move past grief from any kind of loss, not only death. I haven’t given up on writing my book and I am currently working on my Relationship Coaching Certification as I write this.
I thank God for all of my life experiences because they have made me the person I am today. I look forward with great hope, even in the midst of challenges, to persevere and to be a witness to others of the true joy and peace that only knowing Jesus can provide.
