My name is Angela. I was a check-the-box “Catholic” for a good part of my life, but have been searching and struggling for Truth since 2005 so as to live as a Catholic disciple of Jesus. I am a pilgrim on a journey to find my way home. I also have a passion for trying to help my children navigate through a culture that has become even more challenging than the one I was once immersed in. I have all the questions, and only some of the answers. I am a mother of 3 teenagers, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and I was a wife for almost 22 years. I lost my husband, Brian, to cancer in 2015. (Pictured with me above. The kids made us brownies for our 20th. Anniversary!) I am a Professional Wrestler and have wrestled with God for many years over faith, prayer, illness, chastity, family, life, love and now death. I attend Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) Parish in Plymouth, MI. I attended Catholic School there with all of my siblings, as did my own children and all of my nieces and nephews. I was married at Our Lady of Good Counsel and, God willing, will most likely go home from there.
I thank God for my past because it has brought me to Jesus. I look forward with great hope, even in the midst of challenges, to persevere and to be a witness to others of the true joy and peace that only He can provide.
